I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of political science at Ohio Northern University in the History, Politics, and Justice Department. I specializes in American Politics, Political Psychology, Environmental Politics, and Public Opinion. In my dissertation, I examines the psychological motivations of political behavior using a combination of archived survey data and original experimental survey data.
Prior to enrolling in the graduate program at UCSB, I received my Masters in Public Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. I worked in local and state government and decided to a pursue a Ph.D. in Political Science to better understand the political environment and to fulfill my dream of teaching at the college level.
When I am not engaged in academic work, I enjoy hiking, running, and spending time with my family.
